KRE.KA S.A. is a market leader in Greece for raising, slaughtering, and selling beef as well as wholesale slaughtering and trading of pork, lamp and goat. The Company owns the largest and most modern domestic facilities for raising, slaughtering and packaging non-poultry meat.

The Company KRE.KA S.A. is one verticalized business, which controls entirely the breeding, the slaughter, the production and the commerce of its own products.

The activities of the company include: 

§         Breading and fattening of calves of Greek and French provenance to a standard unit of bovine exploitation with code EL5500413.

§         Slaughter of calves, pigs, goats and lambs to modern abattoirs in Kavala (S37 E.C.) and Ioannina (S54 E.C.) for the products of the company and on behalf of third persons.

§         Elaboration – packaging – production and trading of fresh and frozen products from calves, pigs, goats and lambs in Kavala and Ioannina with codes A38 E.C. and A115 E.C.

§         Production of fresh and frozen ground meat.

§         Production of minced meat and meat preparations.


The new activities of the company resulted from the new biogas unit include
:

§         Environmental awareness

§         Anaerobic treatment of by-products of the company as well as those products collected from third parties

§         Production of biogas

§         Production of electric and thermal energy

§         Production of organic fertilizer
